About Me

My name is Alisa Henin. I am a wife, mom, grandma, daughter, human resource pro, author and miracle believing blogger. I am also a domestic violence crime survivor.  In 2017, I endured six months of stalking that led to a 28-hour domestic assault and abduction. I prepared for the worst and am thankful every day that I survived. Today, I am fiercely passionate about sharing my story to coach others as they  prepare to survive a potential domestic violence incidents and thrive  in life afterward.

I have applied 25+ years of human resource training experience to develop  engaging and interactive presentations that are suitable  for in person or web delivery.  Each listed on this page can be customized for specific  time frame and topic focus needs.  Presentations with a Christian faith emphasis  are noted as such.  Past audiences include  Partners for Change conferences  coordinated by the Oklahoma Attorney General office ( attendees such as law enforcement, and local/state/federal crime victim advocates_. Additional larger audiences include a YWCA fundraiser for domestic violence services and  the virtual VA services symposium for domestic & intimate partner violence. Please drop me an email if sharing my story can help you  or someone you know.

“She shares her story in such an honest, authentic – even humorous – way that audiences can’t help but connect with her. Alisa was so easy to work with, very communicative, and tailored her speech to our event and audience. If you are considering Alisa for your event, do not hesitate! Highly recommend!”-Courtney Dennis, Executive Director, Enid YWCA
